Drabbles: Henry Christmas shopping

Henry moved through the canvas tents of the marketplace, listening to dozens of voices calling out in several languages. His ring translated as he moved through the crowd.
"Squaadja fruit candies! Spongy and juicy!"
"Right here! All the woognit you can want!"
"Get your warming Suuva firesilk right here!"
He paused to look at the firesilk; he'd picked up some firesilk underwear a few months back, and it was his favorite pair, but this batch was too warm; wearing it without any protection long-term could actually cause damage to humans. Shaking his head, he moved on. As much as he'd like to get Josh a similar pair, it wasn't going to work. Besides, this was only Josh's second Christmas with him, and his previous years had been too miserable. He didn't exactly want to give him underwear for Christmas. Even if it was firesilk.
He looked around the alien market. Once again, he'd waited until the last minute for his Christmas shopping. Still, he'd managed to pick up quite a few gifts already. A new VR set for his dad; a holo of his family for his mom; an armband for Avalon; a semi-telepathic living mystery cube for Allanah. But he couldn't find anything for Josh.
What do you get for your boyfriend who saved your life multiple times, who has really only celebrated Christmas once before? When you have a universe of awesomeness to pick from? He bit his lip in frustration.
Wait. A universe. Yes. That's it.
Josh not only saved his life, he's helped him become a better person. He's opened up a whole universe to him.
So why can't Henry do the same for Josh?
He has, of course, taken Josh on space flights, but they tend to be nerve-wracking for him. After all, he senses life, and space... is pretty empty. So... why not make a bit of a change?
A small personal rocket, with enough room for a collection of plants and animals and other life forms. In other words... something of a "liferaft" to keep him safe whenever they traveled through space together. There were plenty of contained alien biospheres for sale around the marketplace. And then a personal rocket. It wouldn't need a lot of controls -- just a liferaft with commands to return to Earth, so he could always go home without either him or Avalon along.
A perfect Christmas present.
Just in time, too. He'd need to hurry if he was going to get everything ready by tomorrow morning...
